Meet the Candidates

The most important part of the annual meeting is the registration and voting for REMC members to serve on the board of directors. The board of directors is the legal body which both the members and the government hold accountable for the actions of the organization. This year, two REMC members representing districts one and two will be elected to serve three-year terms.

Please note the start time of the business session is at 7 p.m. in the main gymnasium. Our doors open with registration and pre-meeting activities beginning at 4:30 p.m. Registration and voting takes place in the auxiliary gymnasium from 4:30-6:30 p.m. That’s where you’ll receive the registration gift and your ballot. Online and mail in ballots will be accepted up till April 4, 2019. Look for your ballot in the mail soon. You must come to the 2019 annual meeting and register in order to receive your gift.

More information about each candidate can be found on the ticket and ballot information that each member will receive in the mail the beginning of March.
